Our personal trainers have a passion for health and wellness.

Working with a personal trainer will boost your confidence in the gym, refine your technique, and help you reach your fitness goals sooner.

At Bass Coast Aquatic and Leisure Centre we offer 30, 45 and 60 minute personal training sessions. We also offer small group personal training sessions.

Many of our trainers have qualifications in special fields such as rehabilitation, pre and post-natal fitness, youth exercise and working with older adults.

During your initial session, your personal trainer will:

  • assess your level of fitness;
  • understand what you want to achieve;
  • identify your preferred activities.

With ongoing training, your personal trainer will:

  • develop an individualised program for you;
  • work with you to provide support and keep you motivated;
  • ensure you learn the correct form and technique;
  • monitor and measure your progress over time;
  • adjust your training program to keep you interested and challenged.

  • Terms and Conditions

    Personal Commitment

    We will design a Personal Training program based on your goals and lifestyle needs. Success in achieving these goals requires a level of personal commitment.

    If you are trying to lose body fat for example, it is expected that you would not counteract your efforts in training sessions by eating poorly. This does not affect our unconditional commitment to you, but it does highlight the importance of your commitment outside of Personal Training sessions.

    We need to work in partnership to achieve the results that we both want. Your results are directly proportional to your level of commitment.

    Cancellation Policy

    The most important factor in improving your health and wellness includes consistent exercise. Training regularly and attending each workout is just as important as the quality of each workout.

    The nature of Personal Training may require that trainers make themselves available outside of their gym duties and other working hours. It is therefore expected that adequate prior notice be given when cancelling appointments. This minimises inconvenience to the trainer and allows time for your appointment to be rescheduled at a more convenient time for you.

    Therefore we require 12 hours notice of any cancellation. Please ensure you contact your trainer directly. If these conditions are not adhered to, clients will incur a full session fee.

    Payment is to be made at the customer service desk by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS and must be done prior to each session. Clients who hold a current Personal Training membership or those using multi-PT passes must present their card to our customer service staff and will be issued with a receipt for the session. All receipts must then be passed on to the trainer prior to the session.

    If a client will not be attending their regular Personal Training sessions or are taking leave, they must suspend their Personal Training membership. This can be arranged through our Customer Service staff. The membership can be reinstated once Personal Training recommences.

    We will not be responsible for crediting more than two weeks worth of 'make up' sessions. Management reserves the right to downgrade the membership of any member not complying with the Cancellation Policy conditions of the Personal Training agreement.

    Appointment Punctuality

    Sessions will commence promptly at the appointed time so it's a good idea to arrive 10 minutes early to warm up.
